We are PhiTech Solutions, a consultancy that has been working in the tunnel world since 2012. We do this at home and abroad. We advise governments, contractors and engineering firms in the field of tunnel safety and tunnel installations. We do this, for example, by carrying out engineering work, inspections or investigations on specific installations. We always keep an eye on the impact on the tunnel as an integral whole. We can also play a supporting role in drawing up project reports and work preparation.

De nadruk van de oefening lag op de interactie tussen de lokale hulpdiensten en het tunnelsysteem. De oefening is onderdeel van het voortdurende Opleidings- Trainings- en Oefentraject van de tunnelorganisatie.
PhiTech Solutions ondersteunt de tunnelbeheerder van de Stationspleintunnel bij het dagelijks operationeel en strategisch beheer van de tunnel. Zo heeft in opdracht van de Gemeente Leiden bijvoorbeeld een actualisatie van de veiligheidsdocumentatie uitgevoerd. Dit omvat de verschillende veiligheidsplannen, maar tevens het uitvoeren van een Kwantitatieve Risicoanalyse (QRA), zoals die door de wet vereist is. Deze opdracht wordt uitgevoerd in samenwerking met Rikkelman Techniek.
Het ontwerp voor beide ventilatiesystemen is tot stand gekomen tijdens de aanbestedingsfase. Hierna is het ontwerp verder uitgewerkt op basis van de inpassing in het civiele ontwerp, waarbij voortdurend rekening is gehouden met de prestatie van de systemen en de interactie met het tunnelsysteem als geheel.
